My relationship with News Interactive extends back to 1998 when I was contracted to design the first version of
news.com.au -
the company's flagship news website. When a full redesign of the network came up for pitch in 2004, I led One
Digital's successful bid.
Working with Art Director Liz Sivell, I developed a comprehensive design strategy and oversaw the implementation
of the design, which was produced in coordination with an internal team from News Interactive. This was
a vast project that required sign-off from 30 national newspaper editors and key executives (i.e. Murdochs) in New York City, and ended
up being hailed as a resounding success by all parties.
